Contact Anna via email or the contact us form with the following information;
Anna will confirm when your mastering is booked and send you an invoice for payment. When we have received your payment we will send out a link to your masters as soon as they are ready. Where necessary, one set of revisions to the mastering is included in the price.
All submissions for stereo mastering should be 24 Bit and at the native sample rate of your project.
Your pre-masters should contain no clipping or peak limiting if at all possible.
When rendering pre-masters space should be left at the front and end of the file to ensure starts and ends haven’t been clipped. All files should be quality checked thoroughly prior to sending to mastering.
Whilst we are not advocates of “absolutely nothing on the master bus” if processing has been applied purely for gain then it should be removed prior to your final renders. If compression or EQ has been applied during the writing / mixing stage and is integral to the mix then leave it on. If at all in doubt feel free to send 2 versions, one with bus processing and one without. Files MUST be correctly labelled specifying the artist, track and mix name.
If you are unsure if your track is ready please send a downloadable mp3 to Anna along with the engineer you would like to book and ask if there are any changes we would advise prior to mastering. Please note we don’t advise on the quality of the musical content only the suitability for mastering.
If you have more than one version of your track and you would like the engineer to pick the one he thinks is most suitable please send over the different versions specifying that you only require one version to be mastered so you are not charged for an additional master/pass.
Please read the information about stem mastering on our services page.
Contact Anna via email or the contact us form with the following information;
If you are confident making up your stems after reading the stem guidelines, then please go ahead and send us your stems. For advice on how to group stems in your project, please send us a downloadable mp3 and we will specify how we would like them grouped. If you would like a quote before we book your session please specify this in your email. Once a quote is sent we will wait until the cost is approved before booking a session. Anna will confirm when your session is booked. Once complete you will receive an invoice. When we have received payment we will send out a link to your masters. Where necessary, one set of revisions is included in the price. Any additional revisions are charged at the hourly rate. Additional passes and mastered stems are not included and will be charged at the hourly rate.
A guide to stem creation can be found here. These should be read thoroughly and understood prior to making up the stems. Please zip your stems before sending to Anna via the Wired Masters WeTransfer link.
All tracks are different so must be quoted on an individual basis. Please send a downloadable mp3 to Anna along with the following information requesting an estimate.

If a CD for production purposes is unnecessary a download link will be sent.
Masters for CD manufacture can be provided as DDP masters or Red Book CDs.
DDP Masters are error corrected, ISRC encoded (if needed) disks used to create glass masters for the mass production process. Red Book CD’s are much the same only they are NOT error corrected. DDP files can be sent as a downloadable file, or delivered as a physical medium. Red Books CD’s are only available in physical format.
In order for software such as iTunes and Windows Media Player etc. to display song information such as Artist, Album Titles and Track Names it will be necessary to submit your music to Gracenote. This is not something that we do, but you can find out further information here: How to submit your music to Gracenote
We do not send tracks to labels.
A selection of our most recent work proudly mastered at Wired Masters. We try to keep this as up to date as possible but a lot of the times we have ensure artists and labels have published the materials first
